We stayed for trip and would love to return. The best part was the full English breakfast. The personnel was really helpful as expected. This hotel had a remote position in the nearest pub. Plus, it was just off family owned broch, Helpful in arranging restaurant, and mainland Scotland.

The setting is peaceful and ideal, close enough to a neolithic 'broch', restaurant and taxi. The staff are very amiable, the rooms are well-equipped and vintage.

I had an exceptional stay at this unique and characterful establishment. the bedroom/library was filled with interesting books and magazines, perfect for relaxing after a long day of work. the evening was made even better by the grand log fire, where I was able to chat with the friendly host and other guests. the breakfast was excellent, and the hospitality and entertainment provided were top-notch. the location also boasts an archaeological site and lovely pieces of antique furniture throughout the property.
One minor drawback was that the reception could have been made a little more clear, as the doorbell didn't seem to work.

I had the most delightful stay at this charming historic family home in Wick. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into a bygone era filled with antique furniture, paintings, and photographs. The cozy, crackling fireplace and warm welcome from the owner added to the enchanting atmosphere. The homemade evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and I appreciated the owner's company and interesting stories about the home's history. The grounds were simply magnificent, and the love and care that has been put into this property over the years were evident. Despite the house being a bit old and tired, it only added to the overall charm for me.
